How do I add a college to my list?+
Go to My Colleges → Discover Schools, search for a school, and click Add. It'll show up on your dashboard with its own workspace.
Where do I write my Common App personal statement?+
Use the Personal Statement tab in the sidebar. It has a 650-word meter and autosaves as you type.
How do supplemental essays work?+
Open any college from My Colleges. Each college has its own Essays tab where drafts are saved and linked to that school.
Does College Clarity submit my applications?+
No. College Clarity is a planning workspace. You still submit through the Common App or the school's portal.
How does the admission chance calculator work?+
Once you fill out GPA and test scores in Preferences, College Clarity compares your stats to each school's published admit range and labels it Safety, Likely, Target, Reach, or Hard Reach.
Is my data private?+
Yes. Your essays, notes, and profile are tied to your account and not shared. See our Privacy page for details.
Will College Clarity guarantee I get into a college?+
No. College Clarity is a planning and research tool, not a guarantee of admission. We help you organize and improve your application, but final decisions are made by the colleges. Always verify information with official sources and trusted advisors.
